  Maddie has had a stomach bug all week and today she said to Brian (while at the park) "I'm having a lot of fun even though I have diarrhea."
  
  I put Adrienne to bed every night around 7pm and have to leave Maddie alone downstairs. Brian always calls home around that time and Maddie has been answering the phone. They end up having ten minute conversations about their day. Maddie will ask Brian what he's doing, when he's coming home, what he did at work, etc. Then she'll tell him things like "Mommy is upstairs with Adrienne and I'm just watching TV downstairs" etc.
  
  Maddie is really a little person now instead of a baby!

  Adrienne rolled over from front to back last week. She did it so quickly we just caught the tail end of it. She's still a little sweetie, always happy and very easy going. She has started putting herself to sleep at bedtime and is starting to have longer naps so we're really excited. Who knew sleeping could be this easy?!!!
  
  Maddie has been entertaining us as usual. On election day she got in her toy car and said "Bye mommy, I'm going to vote for John Kerry." Then while watching CNN with us she was asking "Is that John Kerry or John Edwards?" After a couple months of the 'terrible twos' she seems to have mellowed out a bit and has become a joy to be around again.
