  Adrienne is a little person now. She's rolling both ways, sitting up, lifting her butt (as if she's getting ready to crawl), objecting when we take things away from her. She only wants to play with things that are not her toys (the remote control, keys, paper, and any kind of plastic). She's eating a variety of foods including chunky foods like bits of banana, bread, and grapes. She claps when we say "clap, clap" (well sometimes) and she still has the cutest smile ever. What a peaceful, happy kid.

  "my sweater is too bulky. <pause> if koreans can't say bulky, they can just say bulk."
  
  "i know what i'm doing! just don't say anymore!" (when mommy was telling her she shouldn't be cutting up her stickers)
  
  "mommy, your boobies look big! that's too small for you silly mommy" (as mommy tries on a new tank-top)
  
  "stop laughing, it's not funny!" (as mommy and daddy laugh at maddie trying to be stern with us)
  
  "it's not FINE, OK?!!!" (as daddy tells her it's fine and not to get upset)
  
  "can we put adrienne back in your belly and get a dog?"
  
  "ariba, ariba!" (when she was in a hurry to leave a restaurant)
